Life as A Christian

Lost Souls we are when we arrive

Babies we have been born

We depend upon other for life

Ahead we face much goodness; much strife

God knew us in the womb

Christ gave his life so;

Their would be no doom

Crucified by stripes

--------------------------------

He died on the cross

So we would have heavenly gain

Without eternal loss

God the father our boss

-----------------------------------------

He rose on that third day

Not to found cross bound

Not found in the ground

He was missing to his followers dismay

-----------------------------------------

Remember Jesus died on Holy Ground

By God's Grace we would soon see his face

He went to be with God the father

In the holy o' holies; a righteous place

-----------------------------------------------

He appeared in Jerusalem again

Not all was finished

He had to have one last supper

Followers were in his holy spirit

------------------------------------------

He said,"I have sent you a comforter."

I go to be with my father now.

Be faithful to God the father

I am his son Christ who died your sins

To you He is me and I am him

Once day we will all be reunited again

Look to the east for that trumpet to sound

We will be caught up where love abounds
